Individual switches and sockets

Each switch and socket is fitted separately, so if one is damaged only that part is replaced and the board goes back into service.

Stripped copper wire inside

The internal connections are made with stripped copper wire, which is what keeps the board working over a long life.

Extra thick cable

The cable is specified thicker than the minimum for the rating — their stated reason is maximum safety in everyday use.

What cable lengths can I get?

Every board in the Platinum series is made as a connector or on 1.5, 3, 5 or 10 metre cable — those are the five codes listed against each board. If you need a different length, we can make it.

What happens if one socket or switch is damaged?

Each switch and socket is fitted individually, so that part can be replaced on its own and the board put back into use rather than being thrown away.

Can I choose how many switches and sockets I want?

Yes. The standard boards are 1, 2, 3 and 4 socket with one switch and one indicator, and we also make boards to the layout you ask for.
